Thoughts on the 108th hour of Lost - The Lighthouse Ep.5:
- ”Lighthouse,” the fifth episode of Lost’s sixth season, was the mirror twin to ”White Rabbit,” the fifth episode of the show’s first season, the same pattern we are seeing throughout Season 6.
- Jack = Loser. If he really ”has what it takes,” then sort it out mate, I’m really pissed at you right now.
- Hurley was the star of the episode and IS Jacob’s Keyholder, love it!

- What did Hurley push in The Temple, why did Jacob say they will all die at the Temple?
- The next episode is called “Sundown” have they got till Sundown to leave the Temple?
- Two clear sides of the war are developing:
fLocke, Sawyer and Clairesseau and possibly Jin against, well, Jacob, Jack & Hurley. What does Jack need to do? What will happen to all the poor souls in The Temple? Who is coming to the Island to join Team Jacob?
- Who is coming to the Island? Widmore? Des? or candidate number 1? 360 degrees = 360 candidates, then the cycle begins again! (This reminded me of when Ben told Michael he had to leave with Walt at bearing “315 degrees” and he mustn’t change course.)
- Wallace = 108? Who the Fuck is Wallace? Is he the Mysterious newcomer?
Wallace is a deliberately Scottish name, and Desmond is Lost’s only Scot, could it be Desmond? Is Desmond, Wallace, Number 108 is Des’s number after all. I like this theory the best.
If Des does turn out to be the heroic Scottish ‘Braveheart’ of Lost, I would be very content, remember “The Rules” don’t apply to Des, he’s Special…

- Jack & son = Father issues all over again, this time different? Who is David’s Mum? Could it be Juliet but she is having an affair with Sawyer? ”Let’s go dutch.” I like that idea.
- Adam & Eve show a reappearance, Hurley suggests it could be any of them! Hurley is so often right! So maybe not Adam & Eve, but Jack & Hurley from a long time ago, Jacob has only saved these two for some reason? I’m still rooting for Rose & Bernard though.
“What if we time-traveled again to dinosaur times and we died and got buried here? What if these skeletons are us?” - Hurley
- What’s with Christian’s body missing all over the place in both timelines?
- When I saw Shannon’s Inhaler, I got all excited that she was coming back.
- Claire’s Voodoo Doll - This was just freaky shit, Clairesseau is crazier than Rousseau but she is by no means a ‘Lost’ cause, she remembers everything and is kind to Jin, so what does that mean for Sayid who apparently is also infected now?
- Timelines are intersecting in both realities, now we see Dogen with Jack.
The Japanese Translation of Dogen to Hurley in the Temple is:
“You are lucky that you are protected, because If you were not protected , I would cut your head off.”
