My Thoughts on Lost Season 6 Ep.12 - Everybody Loves Hugo: Another awesome episode, with only 6 hours left of LOST things are really reaching fever pitch. So many answers are coming at you at once, It’s difficult to digest them all but you are certainly left with the feeling that it is all finally coming together, which is making me really sad :( I’ve waited 6 years for these episodes giving us answers and now I’m bloody depressed that I’m getting them ALL. I Just can’t win, it’s certainly a roller coaster of a journey. As the story of Lost comes to an end, I am finding it harder and more and more pointless in theorising anymore, as Des said: “What’s the point”. From now on we just need to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Although there are still a few points I would like to touch on: Whispers answered, well kind of. Michael describes The Whispers as, “Those that can’t move on.” - BLOODY PURGATORY, I wish it would just go away, stop fucking with my head, Darlton, you promised us it wasn’t BLOODY PURGATORY!!!  Until I go back and watch every ‘Whisper’ ever in LOST I’m still not swallowing it, but I always knew it was Spiritual & Ghost like, it’s just that the translations of the Whispers I’ve studied for years do not make clear sense to me just yet as they clearly are interfering with events on the Island somehow, can Ghosts do that? I do think the answer actually will have a huge importance into the show’s Endgame: The island is literally haunted with the souls of those that have suffered throughout the endless history that Jacob and The MIB have overseen. Will the Defeat of fLocke offer these souls the chance to finally move on?  Ilana - The classic Doc Artz moment relived, saw that coming, but oh Ilana, WHY? “Dude, you’ve got some…Ilana on you.”  I couldn’t help but laugh, sorry Ilana. Hurley becomes enlightened this week and seems to turn into the old Season 3 TNT obsessive John Locke on an Island destruction tour. He’ll be blowing up Widmore’s sub next. Hurley picks up Ilana’s bag of Jacobs ashes, this has to be important, but how does Hurley know this? Richard Alpert has turned into a Whimp, sorry RA fans but he is pathetic. I’ve switched sides, I’m now on Team Hurley. Did you notice the Island painting in the Mental Institution, The Tawaret Crocodile, the Fish eating the red Butterfly, the Rain etc.. all mega clues. Sideways world is the “wrong” reality, will everyone stop going on that it is their heaven, their destiny world, coz it bloody isn’t, OK! fLocke finally asks Desmond why he’s not afraid. “What’s the point in being afraid?” Des replies. fLocke considers this for a moment, and then throws Des down the Electromagnetic well.  If events are related to whats going on in the ALT reality then possibly this is why Des then wiped out Locke in his wheelchair, coz he saw it happen, Des can see both realities unfold, he is The One. “There, that’s what you get for throwing me down a fucking well, Brotha.” We know that when characters have near death experiences, they get a glimpse of the other reality, At the very End, did you get the feeling Locke had a moment of remembering, when he had a near death experience?!? I Did. If so, then what a Mind Fuck that must be, finding out that you are infact The Devil. Des is so fucking special, he knows what he is doing and he understands the importance of his actions. He has no fear, he is prepared to sacrifice his whole life and family, he is The Man and he is our only hope. Is it possible that fLocke sees Des as an example of humanity that Jacob was trying to prove him wrong all these years, is it possible that he realises that he was wrong and Jacob was right, Is he now feeling fear himself, very timely that scary kid pops up with a smile at this very moment. Like he is watching over fLocke, checking that he knows that he is being watched and he must stick to the ‘Rules’.  Which makes me think that when all else fails, fLocke will actually BREAK THE RULES and it will be GAME OVER! for MIB. Not only is there several pockets of extreme EM energy on the Island, but there are also pockets in the real world which I believe will hold a massive significance: In L.A, under the church that houses The Lamp Post, in Australia, where Bernard took Rose to meet Isaac of Uluru and at the exit points for the Island, like Tunisia.  Even if Des is killed on the Island, all he needs to do is find one of these Energy Pockets in the ALT reality, maybe through the help of Dharma and then anything is possible for The One. I have NO FEAR for Des.  (Although I am a little disappointed that he didn’t use his Neo like super EM powers on fLocke, not yet anyway.) Finally we are left with the ultimate Face-Off, Jack vs Locke, Team MIB Vs Team Hurley. It’s decision time folks! Your choice needs to be made now. Follow fLocke, or Stop fLocke leaving… The Universe depends on it. Namaste and Good Luck!
