Thoughts on Lost Ep.13 The Last Recruit:
In this episode, it was time for The Show to rearrange its players on the “Risk” board of its narrative, just like it has done in all previous seasons before in the lead up to the Finale. Except this time, Hydra appears to be the strategic location.
Question: In LA X when we see the Island underwater, was Hydra also underwater? I guess not now, it appears that it will be a viewing platform for the impending END of The Island.
Claire: “You decided the moment you let him talk to you, like the rest of us. Whether you like it or not, you’re with him now.”
I’m not sure I buy all this “If fLocke speaks, you’re his” crap, as Hurley states, if it’s not too late for Anakin, it’s not too late for Claire, or even Sayid maybe to come back from the Dark Side. After all he didn’t kill Des did he!!! - There is hope yet for the Iraqi torturer.
Sawyer: “We’re gonna ditch Locke. You, Me, Jack, Hurley, Sun, and that pilot who looks like he stepped off the set of a Burt Reynolds movie.” - Great line.
Funny how Lapidus, the Pilot, never mentioned the possibility of flying off the Island together on the Ajira plane and seems to prefer Sawyers plan to hijack the sub. It was always a daft idea and impossible, so why does MIB keep persisting with his plan to fly away, no-one else is taking him at all seriously, so why do they still follow him?
Sun - Confirmation that the link between the ALT and Island Worlds caused her language problems, now she has Jin back, so returns her connection and her language.
Claire - I’m no psychologist, but when the crazy lady tells you she has issues because you abandoned her, It can’t be the best idea to abandon her again just minutes later!
Q:  Is this why Widmore has them at gunpoint because he knows about Claire, is this part of fLocke’s plan all along to get everyone off the Island and onto Hydra including Claire his double agent on the inside.
When everyone is on Hydra, maybe then the fun can begin.
Claire: “If he finds out we’re gone, he’s gonna be mad.” - No Shit!
Claire is so going to kill Kate :( .  I know it but I refuse to accept it.
Jack: “If that thing wants us to leave, maybe it’s afraid of what happens if we stay?”
Hallelujah, Jack is finally getting it.
fLocke: “Don’t worry. You’re gonna be ok. You’re with me now.”
Oh no he isn’t.
Q: Is Ji Yeon really OK in the ALT?
I’m not so sure the baby survived in The Eve of The Apocalypse World.
MIB was NOT Christian Shephard (CS) in all sightings. There appears to be 2 versions of CS running around.
MIB taking CS form on the Island.
The real ghost of CS, or Jacob taking CS form off Island.
I don’t believe a word fLocke says now, once again he is kind of right but not telling the whole truth.
WTF is it with Zoe calling in Widmore Airstrikes like she is playing Call Of Duty, Oh pleeeese, that is just daft, just when I thought Widmore was onto something with the EM energy pockets he reverts back to Dynamite/TNT and stupid explosions that are never going to hurt Smokey.
What is the bet that when Jack operates on Locke, he flashes, he remembers and he uses him as a hostage to get what he wants in the real Island Time, just like a mirror image of when he had Ben as hostage in the Dharma operating theatre in Season 3. Then he really will have fLocke by the goolies.
The strange thing here is that fLocke does not seem to be aware of the ALT reality yet!?! The moment he remembers, the fun really will begin.
I have a strong feeling that Locke will have an internal struggle between Good Vs Evil. I always believed that MIB merged and combined with the soul of Locke rather than take him over completely. Flocke still shows a lot of Locke’s personality traits, Good, Faith believing version of Locke is still inside that body and may just yet try to fight back.
This is another reason why Locke’s ghost never appeared to Hurley, and Miles can’t hear him, he is still trapped in Locke’s body with the Evil MIB. The dead Locke in the beach cemetery is simply an empty shell of a body, it ain’t Locke. (Remember what ALT Locke said to Jack about the airline losing his Dad, it wasn’t his Dad they lost, just his empty corpse.)
….. Hang on a sec, this is all very much like “Green Lantern, Flash, Faster Friends” Walt’s comic book playing out all over again, Shiiiiiit, I think I was right.

At this point I am going to reignite my theory from way back when I saw a Medusa spider on Locke’s dead head. It may not have been indicating that he is alive as such but kind of in a sleep, in a trance controlled by MIB, after all we know that MIB has appeared as the Medusa spider before.
“Dead is NOT Dead,” Locke is NOT dead, his Spirit & Soul lives on in a combined, merged form with MIB as fLocke just like in The Flash Comic Books, in BOTH realities.
He just needs to wake up, to remember, then he can challenge his evil half and thanks to Des in the ALT, this is exactly what I believe is about to happen.
Namaste and Good Luck.
